Pricing & Service Break Down

Pricing may vary depending on the scope of work, but this guide helps provide a general idea. A minimum service fee of $65 may apply, with an hourly rate of $50-$75 thereafter. This will apply to anything not listed below, and some have it in the description. If there is something you need done that is not below then send an email and ask.

Please note that when performing touch-ups on pre-existing painted walls, an exact color match is not guaranteed—especially if the original paint was purchased at a different time. Even with a color match, variations in age, lighting, and application can affect how the paint appears on the wall.

While I will do my best to match the color as closely as possible, I cannot guarantee a perfect blend. For the best results, painting the entire wall is always recommended.

Hourly rates are provided as a general guideline and may vary depending on the scope and complexity of the work. The hourly charge only applies to jobs specifically billed by the hour. A standard service call fee of $65 applies to all jobs, including brief visits. Time is billed in full-hour increments—for example, if a task takes 1 hour and 10 minutes, you will be billed for 2 full hours.

Trim & Carpentry

• Baseboard install (per linear ft) — $6.00–$9.00 (this will include materials)

• Baseboard install (per room 10x10) — $285+ (this will include materials)

• Baseboard Paint $2.50-$6.00 (per linear ft) (this will include materials minimum of 50ft linear)

• Baseboard Paint (per room 10x10) — $175+ (this will include materials)

• Trim repair (patch/sand/paint) — $100–$225 (high end would be a whole room repair 10x10)

• Door casing install (per door) — $95–$150

• Door casing Paint (per door) — $45–$125

• Complete room trim out and paint (room 10x10) — $300+

Accent Walls & Built-Ins

• Accent Trim Wall (e.g., Board & Batten, Picture Frame) — $6–$12 per sq. ft
  Includes layout, trim install, caulking, sanding, and basic paint
  • Flat Rate (e.g., 8' x 10' wall): $450+
  • Pricing depends on wall condition and complexity of design

• Mud Bench (Basic Built-in Style) — $450+
  Includes framing, trim-out, hooks/shelf install, caulking, and sanding
  • Does NOT include custom cabinetry, drawers, or seating pads
  • Best suited for entryway or garage spaces

• Shiplap Wall Install — $8–$14 per sq. ft
  Includes material install, trim finishing, caulking, and basic paint
  • Wall Example (8' x 10'): $500+
  • Higher pricing applies if wall is uneven or outlets/baseboards must be removed

Painting & Drywall

• Room repaint (wall and trim 10x10) — $200–$ 500

• Door painting (Interior per door) — $65–$150

• Door painting (Exterior per door) — $125–$150

• Small drywall patch (per patch up to 6”) — $100

• Small drywall patch (per up to 3 up to 6”) — $155

• Medium drywall patch (per patch 6”-12”) — $100-$125

• Medium drywall patch (up to 3 between 6”-12”) — $150-$185

• Large drywall patch (per patch 12”-24”) — $195-$245

• Large drywall patch (up to 3 12”-24” ) — $200-$250

• Full wall repair + paint (per wall) — $250–$350

Caulking & Sealing

• Interior trim caulking (per linear ft) — $1.50–$3.50

• Bathroom/kitchen re-caulking (per room ) — $150–$250

• Bathroom/kitchen re-caulking (1 unit) — $65–$85

• Window/door sealing (1-3 doors or windows) — $125–$175

Doors & Hardware

• Exterior Deadbolt or knob install (per unit hardware not included) — $65–$85

• Weatherstripping replacement (per door and stripping included) — $65–$85

• Interior Door (per door and does not include hardware for a minimum of 3 doors) — $25.00

Fixtures & Installations

• Ceiling fan install (per unit no hardware just labor) — $75–$125

• Curtain/blind install (per window no hardware no less than 4 windows) — $20–$35

• Light fixture swap (per unit no hardware at minimum 2) — $45–$75

Maintenance & Repairs

• Smoke detector check & replace (per unit with a 65.00 service fee) — $10–$20

• Outlet cover replacement (per outlet with a 65.00 service fee) — $10–$15

• Change a A/C filter ( 65.00 service charge) — $10–$15

Availability & Job Scope Disclaimer

Driftwood Handyman + Co. is a part-time service operated outside of standard business hours. Due to this, all work is performed after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends, as scheduling permits.

I only accept projects that align with both my skill set and availability. My ideal clients are those who need help with:

Unoccupied or rental properties

Projects that can be completed in phases over weekends

Jobs that do not require full weekday access

This includes, but is not limited to, accent walls, painting, trim work, and minor repairs — all of which must fit within the timeframes I can offer. I reserve the right to decline projects that extend beyond my availability or require skills beyond the scope of what I can provide.
